Meet The Maker:
Founded in Boston, MA, in 2009 by Brian Johnson, Well Told creates everyday products that meld artistry with functionality, practicality with wit, and style with sustainability. Drawing inspiration from his background in mechanical engineering, industrial design, and product development, Brian started looking for ways to incorporate high-performance industrial materials into designs for the home. Along the way, Brian’s college buddies Dave, Neil, and Colin came on board to help build their company on five essential qualities—creativity, ingenuity, craftsmanship, honesty, and pride. They are passionate about sourcing materials and packaging from U.S.-based companies, and using Earth-friendly materials, whenever possible.
