Bolga baskets are hand-woven in Ghana, in West Africa. The tradition of making these baskets is passed down from generation to generation.

Bolga market baskets are woven out of renewable resources, including banana leaf and elephant grass, which grow abundantly in the region. Leather used on the baskets is treated using an all-natural process (either dyed and oiled or painted).

This large Bolga market basket measures approximately 15" across and 10" deep. It is WASHABLE and COLLAPSIBLE, and will last a lifetime if properly cared for.
