Hello and welcome to Agora! We are honored that you’re here for the launch of our search engine for local products. We are starting off with 24 amazing local stores in Boston, MA, and over 600 products from those stores.
Agora is an honest endeavor to empower our communities by empowering local shops, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our founder, Allie Walsh, looked around and wanted to do something to help the small businesses that were struggling. Prior to Agora, Allie was a graduate of Harvard University and previously participated in the tech accelerator Y-Combinator.
In addition to Allie, Agora was made possible by a team of people dedicated to the mission of local shopping. Jack McNamara, Paige Coolidge, Zac Denham, and the entire team at GoingClear Digital Agency all worked hard to bring Agora to life.
